Day One!

Hey y’all!

I did it! I made it all the way through the day following my plan. I also ran for about 3 miles and burned over 400 calories.

It was tough today but I was really, really mindful of the foods I ate and while I ate them. When I say this I mean using all of my senses and being so grateful for the food I got to eat.

This seems to ease my mind when thinking about food. Take it slow and be mindful. It feels so much better to eat to not all the way full then to overeat. Also, having a good workout made my stress levels fall greatly.

I think the main lesson today is that when I get really stressed, eating is the only thing I would turn to because I thought it would help solve my problems when really only me taking action will do that.

Visiting the center was really great, too. Especially when I was so honest about how I feel instead of pretending I am some perfect angel!
